Founded in 2017, The Cottage was established to assist women in crisis and their dependent children while they search for permanent housing. Since then, our focus has shifted to help any family in the Penn Manor School District (PMSD) area who is experiencing housing insecurity.

Interested in supporting us? Checks should be made payable to Millersville Community Church with “The Cottage” in the memo line. Checks may be dropped off (Monday to Thursday, 9am to 4pm) or mailed to the church office at 163 W. Frederick Street, Millersville, PA 17551. Our Inaugural Online Silent Auction ended Friday, 26, 2025.

We had over 70 items, suitable for children and adults, that were available for bidding plus 12 “Mystery Bags” available for purchase. All of the bags were bought and only 4 items did not have bidders.

All expenses have been reported and we now know that this fundraiser made over $3,500!! Thank you to all of our corporate sponsors, donors, and bidders! You made all of this possible!
