Founded in 2017, The Cottage was established to assist women in crisis and their dependent children while they search for permanent housing. Since then, our focus has shifted to help any family in the Penn Manor School District (PMSD) area who is experiencing housing insecurity.
Interested in supporting us? Checks should be made payable to Millersville Community Church with “The Cottage” in the memo line. Checks may be dropped off (Monday to Thursday, 9am to 4pm) or mailed to the church office at 163 W. Frederick Street, Millersville, PA 17551. Over 70 items, suitable for children and adults, are available for bidding and 12 “Mystery Bags” are available for purchase at $10 (each bag contains items valued between $12 and $15; bags are marked with ribbons tied to their handles: pink for women, blue for men, and gold for either: old-fashioned & stereotypical but easy to understand & remember!)
